This work is at its best when a load has texture: a tight receiving window, awkward cube, freight that will not forgive a rough mile, stops that have to be worked in a particular order. Care is not an upgrade at MIKE ZIMA TRUCKING LLC; it is the only way Marcus knows how to load a truck.
MIKE ZIMA TRUCKING LLC exists for the part of hauling that a rate sheet misses: the skid that has to stay upright, the carton marked this-side-up, the trailer that has to clear one narrow dock turn. Marcus plans the load piece by piece and stays with that plan until the last pallet is set down.

Pallets and cartons take a simple stop code that follows them onto the delivery sheet.

The count is checked against the load before the doors close, by the person about to drive it.
Deliver with purpose
At arrival we break the load down in order and set each pallet where the receiving sheet says it goes.
